2017 was a tremendous year for us here at Switch.
We partnered with industry-leading customers in retail, grocery, financial services and commercial real estate to dig deep and identify what they really need to hit their business goals. In the process, we realized just how much work we must do to empower the market with tools and resources that support those initiatives.
As a result, we kicked off 2018 with the launch of three new smart building platform products, a refreshed website and a bit of industry recognition.
Last year, the Switch Platform helped Fortune 500 companies in a variety of industries optimize building performance more efficiently than ever before. After listening to our customers to better understand their project objectives and deliver the fastest path to ROI, we unveiled three new smart building platform products designed to serve a variety of business strategies.
Green Quadrant® Facility Optimization Innovator
Following the launch of our three new smart building platform products, global independent research firm Verdantix named Switch Automation an “Innovator” in their 2018 Green Quadrant® Facility Optimization Software report. Specifically, Verdantix recognized Switch’s strengths in facility data capture and management, asset fault detection and enterprise reporting.
“Switch Automation should be shortlisted by CRE portfolio managers seeking increased transparency and control over the energy and operational performance of facilities within their portfolios. Switch Automation’s software and managed services will support portfolio managers in cost-cutting objectives while enabling them to improve building performance and operating income through variables such as reduced maintenance requirements and better equipment sequencing.”
— Verdantix, 2018 Green Quadrant® Facility Optimization Software
Verdantix isn't the only industry expert to take notice of Switch. Our founders created Switch in Sydney because the city is widely known as the seat of sustainability in Australia. Since launching the Switch Platform in 2012, we’ve stayed true to our Australian roots while continuing our international expansion. Most recently, global market research and consulting firm Frost & Sullivan announced Switch as the winner of the 2018 Australia Smart Building Solutions Company of the Year award.
At Switch, we create technology to bring people and planet to the center of building operations. Whether it’s through intuitive reporting and analytics displays, comprehensive fault detection and controls or in-house support services, our number one priority is to deliver an exceptional customer experience. That said, it was time to reorganize, refresh and reveal an improved SwitchAutomation.com. Our revitalized website gives enterprise real estate operations professionals the tools and resources they need to elevate portfolio performance beyond the status quo.
"Winning the 2018 Australia Smart Building Solutions Company of the Year award and being named an Innovator in the 2018 Green Quadrant® Facility Optimization Software report reinforces our excitement to work with forward-thinking leaders who value operational efficiency and sustainability.”
