Switch was named a “Leader” in the Verdantix 2019 Green Quadrant IoT Platforms for Smart Buildings report after a comprehensive assessment on each vendor’s ability to monitor, analyze and control building services. The study included thirteen of the most prominent vendors in the smart building platform market, with just seven of them named “Leaders” in this space. Designed to help enterprise leaders choose the best fit solution for their business case the report highlighted Switch’s strengths in platform configurability, implementation options, FM services and enterprise reporting.
“With its choice of adoption models, Switch makes it easier for firms to adopt its platform and find retro-commissioning opportunities. Operators of older, less efficient buildings that have yet to embrace digital facilities management should find some quick wins for cost savings in energy and maintenance. Within one month of implementing the Switch Platform, Oxford Properties identified $150,000 in savings across four locations as a result of retro-commissioning major building systems such as chiller plants, boiler plants, air handling units and lighting systems,” according to Dennis Callaghan, Principal Analyst, Verdantix.
We’re proud to be the only leading company in the IoT platform market with a female CEO and hope this points to a shift in more women rising the ranks in PropTech.
Recognizing our dedication to making the built environment more sustainable, Switch was recently awarded the Solar Impulse Efficient Solution Label for the Switch Platform.
Solutions are assessed by independent experts for their technological feasibility, environmental and socio-economic benefits and economic profitability. The Solar Impulse Foundation awards this label to solutions that can create jobs and generate profit while also reducing carbon emissions.
Adoption of smart building IoT platforms is growing in the real estate industry and the market is finally embracing PropTech as a necessity to succeed. As a result of this market shift, Switch is growing our team and we’re hiring for a variety of positions globally.
Buildings generate 40% of the global carbon emissions creating a massive opportunity to affect the climate emergency happening on our planet. The Switch Platform identifies opportunities for building optimization and energy use reduction, to increase profitability and decrease the impact on the environment.
